At this time of the year the Canola crops are a sight to see Dinner at the Australian Hotel is good huge meals served quickly cherry pie and ice cream yum. Avoid Friday night as that seems to be raffle ticket night, lots of noise and crowded areas

The staff at the Information centre where very helpful and friendly plus a bonus courtesy bus to the clubs was very good. Just walking around the town and seeing the old buildings and the Chinese gardens where very good. We where only there overnight but it was still a pleasant stay.

Young is a beautiful country town with many friendly people around. Shops with different items then the city stores are always nicer, staff are more friendly to help you & so kind to talk to you. You always find something so different to buy. Famous for their cherries when in season & their markets beginning of each month.
